Armed with crates of boogaloo records and surrounded by New Orleans music in the streets and in the clubs, in a city whose very makeup is mixed up like gumbo, it seemed natural to cook up Spanish Harlem Latin funk and New Orleans soul. The result was Los Po-Boy-Citos, New Orleans Latin Soul. Los Po-Boy-Citos plan to boogaloo in New Orleans for some time.
